I searched for a men’s haircut near me while visiting Sarasota to propose to my girlfriend on Lido Beach. We got into town a little later than expected, so I started looking for a good men’s haircut in Sarasota and came across The Q Salon for Men in downtown Sarasota. I was able to book online for the next afternoon and had a great experience. The haircut was excellent, the conversation was easy, and the whole appointment felt relaxed and professional. Exactly what I needed before a big moment. The proposal went perfectly… and now we’re getting married! Found this place and decided to give it a shot. We’re from out of town and have had so much trouble finding a good stylist. Susy knew exactly what to do with the picture we showed her and she wasted no time giving my son the best haircut ever received. Suze does an absolutely fantastic job! She makes sure she has a great understanding of your desired look before starting and ensures to spend the extra time to adjust anything needed. Take note first time visitors, the entrance to the building is not from Fruitville, but rather the rear of the building. No signage. I lived in LA for many years and would go to some of the high end well known salons in Beverly Hills to make sure I got a great cut. Suzy is the only stylist I’ve found in Sarasota that offers that same level of style and service and she is extremely cool to talk with. Susy cut my hair at another salon before going out on her own. Her new place is about 35 mins away, but I didn’t even think twice about it. A first class cut is worth driving a few miles more.
